Motor vehicle safety inspection

Most New England and Mid-Atlantic States require periodic vehicle safety inspections and auto emissions test at authorized facilities including Mr. Tire.

States with safety inspection programs test emissions at the same time. Other states test auto emissions only. Testing can be statewide or only in large cities and densely populated counties only; annual or biennial.

Be sure to bring your driver’s license, vehicle registration card and certificate of auto insurance to your appointment.
